AFN Education Forum: Reigniting the Flames of our Ancestors

Real Estate Foundation of BC General Grants

We prioritize grants to Indigenous-led organizations. We are particularly interested in projects that support Indigenous rights and interests in land use and real estate. These grants can fund projects led by First Nations, non-profits, and other organizations working on projects relating to land use or real estate in BC. Vancouver Foundation Transforming Systems Grants

The Transforming Systems Grants (TSG) is intended to support organizations that prioritize intersectionality, allyship and mutual liberation in their efforts to challenge oppressive systems. These grants of $300,000 offer flexible, operational funding for three years to qualified donees, registered non-profit societies and community co-operatives operating in BC.

Indigenous Food Pathways Program
January 10, 2025
This program provides strategic capacity-building funding. Funding can be used to create new projects, enhance existing programs, or improve group operations for Indigenous-led food systems and food security initiatives that act as disruptors to known systemic barriers. Projects funded are intended to act as catalysts to generate positive change that supports Indigenous peoples’ self-determination over their food systems, and their participation in the food and agriculture sectors. Supports eligible expenses up to $200,000. Maximum amount approved will depend on project demand and impact
