The conference theme this year is Connecting to Our Land, and will explore how First Nations connections to the land are the foundation for many aspects of learning and education, including First Nations education authority, language learning, ecological learning, and more. The theme includes, but is not limited to, examples of First Nations language learning and on the land learning.

A chance for Coordinators and those running on-the-land/water programming for Indigenous youth to informally connect with others doing similar work and chat about anything you want to with a small group of people.

The #IndigenousYouthRise support fund is a grant to support Indigenous youth and promote community wellness! The Support Fund offers up to $2000 for projects that occur in Canada and are Indigenous Youth-led (ages 13-30).

Indspire is pleased to announce that the 2024 National Gathering for Indigenous Education will take place via a hybrid format, allowing educators from across the country to attend virtually or in person. The National Gathering is a one-of-a-kind venue where educators and partners can share their voices and work together to improve the educational outcomes of K-12 Indigenous students. There will also be a student panel discussion featuring three Indigenous students who will discuss their experiences in post-secondary educational

The NWT On The Land Collaborative provides centralized access to funding and other resources for on the land programs in the Northwest Territories.

Learn about the services that Kids Help Phone offers to support Indigenous youth and their mental health, and discuss with others attending about the mental health needs you see arising among the programs and youth you work with.

Take Me Outside Day helps to raise awareness about outdoor learning by encouraging educators to take their learners outside. This FREE virtual event is an entire week full of activities, speakers, and prizes to encourage folks to head beyond the four walls of a classroom! With the help of our 100+ outdoor learning partners, there is something for all ages, grades, and subjects under the three central themes of Indigenous Perspectives & Knowledge, Environmental Education & Climate Change, and Health & Wellbeing.
