For Zahra Remtulla, land-based and community-driven work begins and ends with relationships. Through her experiences across BC, the NWT, and Manitoba, Zahra has learned that authentic connection—built on trust, laughter, and care—is what truly sustains this work. As a connector and storyteller with Nature United and the YOLO Community Network, she continues to weave relationships that bridge vision and action. Zahra reminds us that showing up in good relationship means slowing down, listening deeply, and grounding ourselves in who we are so we can walk alongside others with respect and reciprocity.
