Caribou Edu-Kit
In support of the The Beverly and Qamanirjuaq Caribou Management Board (BQCMB) 2023-2032 Caribou Management Plan, the board has produced an activity book for youth in grades 3-5. This 28 page kit answers many caribou-related questions, covers topics such as cultural importance of caribou and caribou adaptations, and contains numerous activities for students to enjoy. Hunter Education (NWT) Grade 10
Hunter Education is a three-credit course intended for Grade 10 students. Schools across the Northwest Territories (NWT) will have the option to offer the course, and teachers will be encouraged to work with local Elders, Environment and Natural Resources (ENR) officers, hunters, and other experts in their community.
